It's been great to get re-acquainted with Thomas. He loves to play with "Ma Ma." Alright, he loves to play with anyone, but I'm glad he likes to play with me. My latest grandbaby, Beth, is absolutely adorable. She is so tiny she looks like a baby doll in her bassinet. Thomas definitely knows the basics of babies. He has two standard questions whenever she cries: "Baby eat again?" or "Baby poop again?"
I've been thrilled that I can be here to help. I am so blessed to have an understanding husband! It's been nice to have more bonding time with my grandbabies, Karen, and Clay. Clay is so easy-going he doesn't seem to be annoyed at having his mother-in-law here (yet!). I think Thomas likes having an extra person to play with, and both Karen and I like having someone to play games with, as neither of our spouses are as interested in playing games they may potentially lose.
I'm glad Karen and I have such a good relationship. I couldn't have asked for a better daughter. I'm glad we can relate as friends as well as parent and child.
