I've gotten to refresh my babysitting skills today. Thomas and I played cars, tangrams, and built towers with blocks. We also watched Happy Feet (his hundreth or so time, my first). I told him nap time would take place right after the movie, so of course he decided that he needed to eat. Anything to postpone nap time! He wailed that he wanted to read more but stopped within about 20 seconds of me closing the door. Knock on wood, it's 2 1/2 hours later and he is still asleep!
Beth slept like an angel until about 1. Then she decided that she wanted to eat, burp, poop, eat, burp, poop, eat and cry for the next 3 hours until she is finally sleeping like an angel again. Being a grandma is exhausting!
The reason I am babysitting in the first place is so Karen and Clay can go look at neighborhoods in Columbus--yea! I am so excited about them moving back to the (general) area. I see many trips to Columbus in my future!
The angel awakens...probably the monster boy will be awakening soon, too. :)
